INSPIRATION

My best work comes from finding inspirations from my own personal hobbies merging with modelling.

“We should enjoy every moment of our life, 'cause it can be very long or very short"

A little short quote from the show - The amazing World of Gumball. Not to dive into the context of the show too much but is a kids show that slowly progressed to expanding its audience age demographic through relatable episodes and fantastic script writing.

When creating this simple 2 wall room I already knew that I wasn't going to add much detail just allow myself to populate the scene. A living room in low lights that's sparely decorated with the TV on - by just adding a picture from that show to screen of the TV I managed to link another hobby and combine it in a natural way.

This stylised room was also inspired by a show that I have recently grown a interest for. All my previous renders I have tried to make them as realistic to my current abilities but this one was the complete opposite. It was a new concept to go for this more cartoon approach taking these muted colours and not texturizing them was odd but insightful.

Despite its more simple result it still required the same amount of effort and time to create.
